Zeni Geva

Born in Tokyo, Japan on September 13th 1961. Composer, guitarist, singer, electronicist and drummer. Studied at Butoh dancer, Min Tanaka's "Mai-Juku" workshop 1981 and started his music career as a guitar improviser, since then KK.NULL has gained worldwide recognition for his solo works as well as his "progressive hardcore trio", ZENI GEVA, that has worked with STEVE ALBINI, and produced more than 10 albums, recorded twice for JOHN PEEL SESSION on BBC, toured 4 times in Europe, 5 times in the USA, twice in Australia and once in New Zealand, played more than 300 live shows. All the while, KK.NULL has worked on his solo career and collaborated with other musical innovators such as STEVE ALBINI, MERZBOW, JOHN ZORN, FRED FRITH, JAMES PLOTKIN, JIM O'ROURKE, KEIJI HAINO, SEIICHI YAMAMOTO (BOREDOMS), OTOMO YOSHIHIDE, JON ROSE, ATAU TANAKA, ZBIGNIEW KARKOWSKI, PHILIP SAMARTZIS, DAVID BROWN, MASONNA, INCAPACITANTS, ASTRO and more. KK.NULL has also supported bands on tour such as SONIC YOUTH and MIKE PATTON (ex-FAITH NO MORE). KK.NULL has been invited to perform at international festivals such as "Hyperstrings" in Vienna (Austria), "What is music?" in Melbourne (Australia), "Beyond Music and Sound" in Los Angeles (USA), "Beyond Innocence" in Kobe (Japan), "Exiles" in Berlin (Germany), "Sonar" in Barcelona (Spain), "International Sound Art Festival" in Mexico City (Mexico), "Sergey Kuryokhin International Festival (SKIF-6)" in St.Petersburg & Moscow (Russia) and "X-peripheria" in Budapest (Hungary), and his new project, MONSTER DVD is invited at "Batofar Cherche... Tokyo" festival in Paris (France) . ZENI GEVA is invited at "All Tomorrow's Parties U.K.". KK.NULL has released more than 60 titles of the recordings in his 19 year-musical career.
