We remember Papoose from his unique take to the 0 to 100 freestyle, but people must know and respect his expertise on Alphabetical Slaughter. That’s the one where the man makes a colossal tautogram out of the alphabet letters, but listen to this, he does this at Dj Kayslay’s trigger. When Kayslay says A, Papoose starts spittin’ only words that start with the letter A, w When Kayslay says B, then comes the killing machine with rhymes that only start with B, and so on. That shit’s gotta be comin’ straight from Brooklyn, that mechanical hood that sprung up minds like O.C., Mos Def, Talib Kweli, GZA, Biggie, Azm, El-P, Joey Badass, and so on. Even Nas was born in the BK, but later on moved away.
