Kris Allen teach us to stand up in his new video The Vision Of Love
Kris Allen premieres a music video to support his newest single "The Vision of Love", the very first one off the sophomore album. The clip follows youngsters who struggle to cope with bullying and self-esteem issues. The singer, who claimed his fame as the winner of eighth season American Idol, meanwhile is seen being occupied with creative process of writing the empowerment song. His clip suggests, optimistically, that standing up doesn't need to be a dramatic, difficult action. He gets help from one student, while the lonely girl learns how to overcome her self-doubt simply by taking off her headphones and introducing herself.
Showcased live for the very first time during a concert at The Mint in Los Angeles, the single serves as the first official offering from Allen's sophomore set titled <I>Thank You Camellia, which is due in the United States on May 22. Its music video is directed by Lenny Bass.
