A remix of Try Me, the DeJ Loaf track just streamed
There’s a whole marketing business out there, sly and insidious, working undercover so that the best of the best get the hype that they deserve. Who popularized DeJ Loaf’s Try me when it first appeared, be it Khalifa or E-40, matters less. It made over a million views on SoundCloud. It’s not all that popular on YouTube, but that’s probably because they have a more rigid copyright infringement policy. Songs are rarely flunked on SoundCloud because of copy rights. The thing is though, and the views prove it, that people are listening to this track. They’ve also been trying to listen to it more, but they failed to do that due to its rapid deleting and re-uploading on commercial channels.
